events connected with A.S. Pushkin's life.

nfortunately, the memorial articles have not survived in the estate. At the moment of the Museum foundation there were 137 items in its collection.

The surviving catalogue of Princes Golitsyn library permitted to form the collection of rare editions of the late 18th - early 19th century on different subjects, to acquire memorial editions which partially helped to reconstruct the Vyazemy library. Among the Museum rare editions there 4 issues of the "Sovremennik" journal published by A.S. Pushkin, "Dumy" by K. Ryleyev in manuscript and lifetime edition, No. 16 1824 of "Damsky Zhurnal" published by Prince D.Golitsyn.


Mantel hall or the former foreign library. According to a legend, Napoleon spent a night here in 1812.


The Museum has a rich collection of porcelain of the most famous plants of Russia (Imperial, Gardner, Popov, Safonov, Miklashevsky factories) and Western Europe (Meissen, Berlin Royal and Vienna Imperial manufactures), furniture of mahogany, rose tree, Karelian birch, poplar.

The collection of painting is not large, but interesting. It includes the works of M. Quadalle , J.-L. Voile, F. Lagorio, Brunikh, etc. The earliest canvases date back to 1630 - 1640s.: "Madonna in Sorrow" by G. Reni, and "The Portrait of Maid of Honour" by the unknown German painter of the early 18th century. Among the engravings there are prints of Raphael circle.

The written rarities include a mason diploma of 1812 which once belonged to the Masonic lodge "Palestine".

The 18th - 19th century sculpture, bronze, water-color, clocks, arms and other items of estate culture are also preserved in the Museum.
