Besides the portraits there were landscape paintings also used for decoration of the town and country estates. For instance, "Otrada Estate". Most of them were commissioned by private house-owners "...We are amazed by a little framed picture, we read in one of the architectural opus of the late XVIII century. - For all my rooms I will commission the portraits of my best friends in their beloved positions, for instance, walking or sitting in the garden or riding in the grove..."
Depiction of dogs and horses is common in such kind of scenes. Quite a lot of them survived.ö
