Nosov Nikolay Mikhailovich. 1901-1979. Ryazan’ Born in Orenburg province. Graduated from the institute in Leningrad with the degree of the railway-engineer, worked as the bridge-engineer. When retired took up painting. His paintings were recognised at once: in 1967 they were presented at the All-union exhibition of the amateur artists. Most of his works are still-life paintings.
