Artist of the second half of XVIII century. Probably, one of the Yaroslavl’ family of the icon-painters Shustovs.

Transferred in 1921 from Borisoglebskoe - the estate of Mussin-Pushkins in Mologa district, Yaroslavl’ province.
This portrait is thought to originate from the Mussin-Pushkins’ estate Ilovna, in the same district.
Sitters: Mussin-Pushkin Ivan Alekseevich (1783-1836), Earl, General-Mayor (1817), Hoff-meister (1828) and his sister Mussina-Pushkina Maria Alekseevna (1782-1863), Countess, in marriage Khitrovo.
